Student Ministry Overview
|
The Wedg is the name given to the youth ministry a long time ago. It is based on the idea of putting a "wedg" between the darkness and the Light. Well, over the last 2 years we have changed that to be; we are putting a wedg between just doing church and living a life as a disciple of Christ. Every student is encouraged to help make the discipleship process culture at Wedgwood. That process is being discipled to become a disciple-maker yourself. Get on board and get ready to grow in Christ!
We are striving to get ever student at Wedgwood involved in the discipleship process. We encourage students to be in a discipleship relationship based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28, and Paul's challenge to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:1-2. These relationships are designed to help students become more like Christ, and eventually become disciple-makers themselves. We want the discipleship process to be the culture of the Student Ministry. |
