I accepted Christ when I was 7 years old when my mom shared the gospel with me. I knew I could not save myself and I knew I needed Jesus.

I remember being so excited about my new faith, sharing Christ at school, and reading my Bible on the playground. As I became a teenager, I strayed from the Lord and experienced a lot of misery during that time. I knew where I needed to be and longed to be right with the Lord but still resisted.

It wasn’t until I married Bryant and we joined Wedgwood that I recommitted my life to the Lord. I experienced the restoration and forgiveness of many years lost in trying to do things my way. I love the Lord so much for never giving up on me and drawing me back into fellowship with Him. I praise Him that He causes me to hunger and thirst for Him and that He alone satisfies.

My prayer is that the Lord will use me in the lives of children and teenagers to encourage them that following Christ is all that matters.
