What is your service time?
What should I wear?
Where do I park?
Where is the A Building?
Where do I take my kids?
What’s for dinner on Wednesdays?
Where can I get a cup of coffee?
These are all great questions! Thank you for considering Wedgwood as you are exploring church options in the Fort Worth area. Whether you are transferring from another church or it’s a new thing, you might have a few questions. We’ve answered our most common here on this page.
If you have a question that we haven’t covered, please contact us. We’d really love to hear from you since there’s a good chance others are asking the same question and we’ll add it to this page!
What are your service times?
We meet Sunday mornings for worship service at 10:30 am. and small groups (we call them Missional Communities) at 9:00 a.m. We also meet for special worship and Bible Study on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
We also meet for dinner and a wide range of activities on Wednesday nights as well.
See our week-at-a-glance listing of all of our recurring weekly events that take place from Sunday to Friday!
What should I wear?
Wedgwood is a church with a history so we have a wide range of ages in our congregation and a wide range of fashion preferences!
From shorts in the summer to suits and ties, you’ll see it all.
Come as you are. We care more about what’s on the inside than what you’re wearing.
Where do I park?
On Sunday mornings, we have set aside parking for visitors and those who need to park close to the entrances due to physical limitations. This parking can be found on the West and South sides of the building.
Overflow parking is located at the Bruce Shulkey Elementary school just East of our campus.
Do you have Sunday School? Where do I go?
More than Sunday School or small groups, our Missional Communities are where we meet weekly for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. They are the primary source of fellowship, pastoral care, and accountability for a disciple at Wedgwood.
Our Missional Communities each adopt a local community ministry not directly connected to Wedgwood to serve and support.
Most of our small groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early, look for one of our friendly volunteers who will be wearing name tags at our main entrances and we’ll connect you with a group.
Find a list of all our groups split by ages and mission.
Where is the A building?
Many of our singles Missional Communities (small groups) meet on Sunday mornings in the “A Building”. It’s a red brick building detached and located at the Northeast corner our primary building and can be accessed through a glass door facing Whitman Avenue.
Where do my kids go on Sunday mornings?
On Sunday mornings, your children can participate in our pre-school (Ages 0-5 years), children (1st-6th grades) and student (junior high and high school) ministries.
Preschool (0-Kindergarten) – Our preschool hallway is accessed across from main our Sanctuary entrance. One of our friendly staffers will check in your child and provide you with a security tag that you’ll use when you pick up your child.
Children (1st-6th grades) – Our Sunday morning children’s program is in the children’s hallway and on our “Mezzanine” floor. Head to the second floor and our volunteers will sign in your student and direct you to the correct class.
Students (7th-12th grades) – Youth meet each Sunday morning on the second floor split by grades for Bible teaching. After they hear and discuss a “master class” they split into small gender-based groups to discuss real-world applications.
Do you have summer activities, camps or sports?
Yes! We have a great selection of sports leagues, weekly activities and camps.
Hey, what’s for dinner on Wednesday nights?
Glad you asked! Served from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday dinner is a Wedgwood tradition. We meet together to fellowship before Wednesday night activities.
Some of the best conversations in the Bible happened when folks gathered around a table eating a meal. Come see what Wednesdays at Wedgwood can do for you.
Where can I find a cup of coffee?
Ask a volunteer to show you where the Christian Life Center (CLC) is located near the Northwest corner of our building to find a great cup of coffee or a latte.
All the proceeds from the coffee kiosk benefit local and overseas missions and ministry partners.
We just ask that you finish your drink before you head into the worship service.
