Join us for our annual Women’s Conference (formerly known as Facets). The E3 Conference for 2018 will combine worship, the main speaker, sessions, breakout workshops, boxed lunch, and fellowship with sisters in Christ.
It is our desire that we Engage, Encourage and Equip Christian women to reach the world for Christ.

Who Needs to be Rescued? With Jennifer Martin
As women we tend to care for others far more than we care for ourselves. How can you overcome the guilt, comparison, and personal disappointment we put on ourselves when we fall short? Come explore how we can show compassion to others and help rescue them when we know how to rescue ourselves first.
Jennifer Martin is married to Ryan and they have 4 daughters. Her family currently attends Cross Church in AR where they live now but were former Wedgwood members. Jennifer works for MOPS International as a Volunteer Manager. She recruits, trains, and develops leaders to realize their potential as a woman, mother, and leader. For fun Jennifer enjoys traveling, photography, fly fishing with her husband and cheering on her four girls in whatever activity they are involved.

In this super practical workshop, you will learn tips on how to make a plan for grocery shopping in order to find great deals and even get things for free!
Alicia was a former math teacher who now stays at home with her two sons- Aiden and Austin. She is married to Brandon. They are members of Wedgwood Baptist Church where with her husband they teach Financial Peace University. When Alicia has the chance you can find her crafting or reading.
Great Expectations!!??!! With Joni Hill
How do we know how much to expect? Do we dare to expect great things? What happens when others- or events-or I, myself, don’t live up to my expectations? We will look at the balance between expectations and grace in several areas of our lives, and how to bring those under the Lordship of the Savior that never disappoints.
Joni is a member of Wedgwood Baptist and has been for the last 22 years. She has a heart for healthy marriages and families with special needs children. She is married to Shaun and they have two children Camden and Christian. Joni is a Mary Kay consultant and enjoys reading cooking and baking
Geocaching as a Way of Connecting with Those You Love With Gayla Martin
Join Gayla as you explore the basics of geocaching. Why? So you will be better prepared to leave and get involved in this activity with those you love.
Gayla hobbies of course include geocaching, hiking and walking, and all types of sports. She also enjoys studying the Bible and playing guitar. She is married to Sam for 29 years and they have one son Mitchell. Gayla and her husband are members of Wedgwood Baptist Church.
Car Care by YOU With Michael Nix
The goal of this workshop is to review various aspects of personal car care that fall into two categories:
Mike has a lifelong passion for all things automotive, and a desire to encourage others whenever her can. He is married the Cheryl and they have one son David.
Mike is a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church and works as a Senior Staff Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics since 1984. Mike also serves as a Lead Bible Study teacher in the youth group and enjoys writing, physical fitness and Pen& Pencil Art.
How to Respond to Emotional Distress With Melissa Jennings
Emotions can be like toddlers that run amuck unless we learn how to control them. First, we are going to cover tips for handling our own emotions and mental health. Then, we will look at how to recognize what is going on in our friends and how to support them through their time of need.
Melissa is a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church. She is married to Luke. She served on the mission field for 3 years and then returned to the states to get a degree in Counseling. She has always felt called to help those around her even for a young age. You can find Melissa binge watching Netflix or reading when she is not working.
Engaging Culture- Navigating our Changing World With Pam Cheek
Culture seems to have gone wild. Even our public bathrooms seem to be places that are at risk. Families and the Church are struggling to respond. What would Jesus do? How do we, as Christian women, engage our culture to make a difference for Christ.
Pam and her husband Dennis are members at Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Pam works as a licensed professional counselor at Impact Counseling and Guidance. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her 4 grandchildren ages, 5,3,2, & 1.
Beauty along the Broken Road With Susie Henning
My road was my road. God had a better road for me but I had a hard time reading the map. His road has not always been easy or straight, but His road has been full of blessings. My road did not include a layoff, breast cancer or a parent with dementia. But His road did and I am learning to follow His road. Join me as I tell you how I have learned to navigate life following His map (His Word) instead of my own map.
Susie and her husband Jeff of 26 years are members of Normandale Baptist Church. They have two children Faith who is a Junior in college and Jake a Senior in high school this year. Susie works as the Director of Development at Trinity Christian Academy. She enjoys watching OSU sports, reading, spending time with family and riding in a jeep through the Colorado mountains.
Prayer Room: Time for You to Spend with Our Father
Prayer is something we know we should do but sometimes have a hard time making time to actually do. Are you finding the Lord is speaking with you during this conference and would like the time to be still with the Lord?
This workshop is a prayer room for you to spend the time praying. Handouts for guided prayers are available. Ladies are also available to pray with you and for you if needed.
Have a prayer need you would like E 3 Women’s Ministry to be praying for drop off your requests in the box in the prayer room.
