Donate Supplies

Southern Baptist Texas Convention

Newsflash: The Southern Baptist Texas Convention has started the Buckets for Harvey Program.

Whether you or your group can donate an entire bucket or single pre-portioned items, this is a great opportunity to join in the Harvey relief effort.

See all the details including a list of items and how each bucket will be put together at the Buckets for Harvey Program page.

The Texas Baptist Men

The Texas Baptist Men have requested the following supplies.

Please bring donations to the Wedgwood Church Office accessible at the main entrance on the West side of the campus.  Office hours are Monday – Thursday 9-5 pm and Friday 9-12 pm.

  • Bibles (requested for local evacuee shelters)
  • Heavy duty trash bags
  • Gloves
  • Hammers
  • 5 in 1 painter’s tools
  • Shovels
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Utility knives
  • 55-gallon heavy duty trash bags

These supplies will help equip teams who do not have these tools.

Volunteer

Wedgwood is partnering with Houston First Baptist Church (HFBC).  Team strategy for that partnership will develop over coming weeks and months as volunteers are needed now and will be needed over the long term.

For friends and family in Houston, direct them to the HFBC website for more information about local resources.

Contact Jeff Laster in the Church Office at 817-292-1400 ext. 1101 or Debbie Gillette ext. 1002 or contact staff via our contact page if you are interested in volunteering.
