Our Recreation Ministry provides recreational and athletic outlets for people of all ages.
These opportunities promote good physical health while emphasizing the importance of spiritual health. Each program has a unique way of connecting with participants and making the Gospel of Jesus Christ available.
Our recreation ministry is organized into three areas to accomplish our mission to worship and grow closer to God through activity.
This summer July 3, and 5-7 we will be having a free soccer camp. There will be two separate sessions 1st-3rd grade will be from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 4th-6th grade will be from 1-4 p.m. There will be more information to come.
This summer July 26-29 we will be having a free dodgeball camp. There will be two separate sessions 1st-3rd grade will be from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 4th-6th grade will be from 1-4 p.m. There will be more information to come.
This year Wedgwood is stepping into the community to reach families through our three sports camps. We are hosting basketball, soccer and dodgeball camps. We need volunteers to make this happen.

As a volunteer, you can help with one or both sections. In order for these camps to be possible, we need you.
Every Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. all year we minister to our community through dodgeball. Ages 5 and up can play together with a great attitude and missional mindset. Warm up starts at 6 p.m. and walk-ins are encouraged!
Upward Basketball is a Christian basketball league for 1st-8th grade children. The goal is to encourage not only your child’s basketball skills but to also increase their knowledge of the Bible. Sign-ups start in October, and the league runs January through February.
An indoor Christian soccer league, Upward Soccer is for children who are in 1st-8th grades. The goal of Upward Soccer is for your child to have fun learning more about soccer and Christ. Sign-ups take place in March, and the league runs April through May.
This is a family league targeted towards 1st-6th graders, but all ages are welcomed in the club. This is an opportunity to build community and spiritual growth through running. Sign Ups will take place in August and the Club will meet in September and October.
