The following are the details about our upcoming events

< June >

Summer Rec. Day (Indoor Soccer)
​Tuesday, June 21st 10:00am - 1:30pm

Why: Summer activities are a great chance to invite your friends to play and connect with one another. This week we will be playing indoor soccer at our church gym. We want you to invite your friends and even build your own soccer team for our tournament. After the tournament, we will head to chick-fl-a on McPherson for lunch. We will start at 10:00am and look to be picked up around 1:30pm from Chick-fl-a.

WedgGo 
Wednesday, June 22nd 6:30pm in the Youth Room

WedgGo is the time where we train our leaders and students that about to go on mission outside of Texas. This specific meeting will be covering information concerning our Seattle Mission Trip. So if you are going to Seattle, Washington with us, please make it a point to join us in the youth room at 6:30pm.

Friday Nights at the Lively’s
Friday, June 24th 7pm - 9pm

All students are invited to the Lively’s house. We will have a night full of fun, dessert and discussion. We look forward to you coming and hanging out with us.

Tuesday, June 28th 10:00am - 1:30pm

Why: Summer activities are a great chance to invite your friends to play and connect with one another. This week we will be playing indoor soccer at our church gym. We want you to invite your friends and even build your own ultimate Frisbee tea. After we have fun playing against one another, we will head to chick-fl-a on McPherson for lunch. We will start at 10:00am and look to be picked up around 1:30pm from Chick-fl-a.

Seattle, WA. Mission Trip
Friday - Thursday, July 1st - July 7th

Cost: $455 This trip is for students who have completed 8th - 12th grade. Students will have opprtintities to share the gospel in new ways with equipped church planters, while putting on a PRCA Rodeo in their town that has led to many coming to Christ over the last few years.

Friday Nights at the Lively’s
Friday, July 15th 7pm - 9pm

All students are invited to the Lively’s house. We will have a night full of fun, dessert and discussion. We look forward to you coming and hanging out with us. 

Texas Rangers Baseball Game
Saturday, July 16 12:15pm - 7:00pm

Cost: $30 Who love baseball? We sure do and hope that you join us in a nice air conditioned stadium as the Rangers take on the Seattle Mariners. We plan on leaving from Wedgwood’s South Entrance at 12:15pm. Our hope is to arrive back by 7:00pm that night at the south entrance. Please remember to bring water, money for food (stadium prices), and a glove if you would like too.

Tuesday, July 19th 10:00am - 1:30pm

Cost: ?? Why: Summer activities are a great chance to invite your friends to play and connect with one another. This week we will taking a swim at our local YMCA.  We want you to invite your friends and meet us at the YMCA off of McCart. After we have fun swimming, we will head to chick-fl-a on McPherson for lunch. We will start at 10:00am and look to be picked up around 1:30pm from Chick-fl-a.

​Student Leadership Team
Friday, July 22nd 5:30pm - 8:00pm

Student Leadership Team is comprised of students who have fill out our application and have been accepted to serve, lead, and have influence on what we do in our student ministry. We will be meeting at the Lively’s house to reflect over the last year and begin praying for what God is laying on our hearts for the future of Wedgwood Student Ministry.

Summer Rec. Day (Gel Blaster)
Tuesday, July 26th 10:00am - 1:30pm

Cost:  Why: Summer activities are a great chance to invite your friends to play and connect with one another. This week we will be competing with one another using Gel Blasters.  We want you to invite your friends and meet us at Wedgwood Baptist Church for a morning full of fun. After we have fun with the Gel Blasters we will head over the the Chick-fl-a on McPherson. We will start at 10:00am and look to be picked up around 1:30pm from Chick-fl-a.

Friday Nights at the Lively’s

All students are invited to the Lively’s house. We will have a night full of fun, dessert and discussion. We look forward to you coming and hanging out with us. ​

Family Lake Day
Saturday, July 30th 10:00am - 6:00pm

Cost: $20 per car or $5 per person to ride the bus. Family day at the lake is one of our favorite times of gather for the year. This event is for  everyone that is apart of the student ministry and their entire families. We will be meeting at Twin Points Park for a day of fun filled with a Volleyball tournament, swimming in a wonderful cove on eagle mountain lake, eating, and building relationships with one another.
