I grew up in Mansfield, TX and I was raised by incredible Christian parents. I cam to faith in Jesus at age 7. Several years later I began to sense that God was calling me into full time vocation ministry. I subsequently enrolled at Dallas Baptist University. While attending DBU I met my future wife, Tina. After we were married in 1999 I enrolled at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, AL. While attending Beeson I served on staff at Hueytown Baptist Church and FBC Gardendale.

Upon graduation I accepted a youth ministry position at Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville we celebrated the birth of our daughters Hannah and Kaitlyn.

After several fruitful years in Nashville we began to sense a call to church planting in the Seattle area. In 2008 we stepped out in faith and relocated to Seattle to start a church in one of the most unchurched areas in our nation. Our time in the Seattle area was truly incredible. We quickly fell in love with the people, the culture, and the scenery. During our 8 years in the Pacific Northwest we saw God do some amazing things in working in the hearts and lives of many people.

However, in 2016 we began to sense God was calling us back to our home state of Texas. In September of 2016 I accepted the call to become the next lead pastor of Wedgwood Baptist Church. This church has such an incredible legacy of ministry to our community and the world. I believe God has many more incredible things in store for this church. I am honored to serve here and I look forward to seeing how God uses the people of Wedgwood to advance His kingdom throughout this city and beyond.
