MDWK "Greatfulness" Series
Wednesday, December 6th 6:30pm - 8:00pm

  • There are certain things that make Christmas really feel like Christmas, right? Christmas trees, holly, candy canes, nativity sets, that one Christmas album your family can’t get enough of . . . oh! And angels. If you pay attention, you’ll find them everywhere this Christmas season. They’re on Christmas trees, ornaments, and greeting cards. They’re in Christmas carols, movies, and nativity sets. And they’re all over the pages of Scripture, too. That’s because angels played an important role in the very first Christmas. In this four-week series from the Gospels, we’ll pay close attention to the announcements the angels made surrounding Jesus’ birth. Together, we’ll see why the messages the angels shared back then still matter today — like the message that God’s timing is always right, that Jesus is always good news, that we can always share God’s story, and that God is always ready to rescue.

TCU Bowl Game (Service / Fundraising Opportunity)
Thursday, December 22nd 2:30pm - 10:15pm

Serving at TCU is a two folded Opportunity for our students to serve in that allows them to be a servant in the community, while making money for summer events. For the past 10 years Wedgwood Student Ministry has partnered with TCU in their Concessions for Home football games. Over those years, we have graciously been placed in better serving opportunities, which leads us to where we are now. We now how the privilege to serve in their club level, which includes their champions and legend clubs. Our job in these clubs include running food to the buffet lines, cleaning tables, refilling the drink stations, and more. 
Attire: To work these games you will need to wear Black pants and Black Shoes. We have TCU Shirts that we will provide to you for the game but I would recommend that you wear an undershirt for comfort.
