Kids
We partner with parents to lead children to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ that is centered around learning and living God’s Word.
Kids have fun at Wedgwood on Sundays and Wednesdays learning about
The Big God Story and how you and I are still a part of that Big Story.
WedgKids Sunday
Grades 1st & 2nd
1st & 2nd graders connect with each other, interact with engaging activities, and discuss the Bible topic for the day. They have so much fun learning God’s word and discussing its meaning with creative and engaging activities.
Grades 3rd & 4th
Sunday mornings 3rd & 4th graders meet together in Room 215 to connect with each other, interact with engaging activities, and discuss the Bible topic for the day. There are many activities that kids have fun with in these grades like explore, connect, gather, and bless.
Grades 5th & 6th
These two grades meet together in The Mezz for interactive games, delicious donuts, and challenging Bible studies. During these years, our goal is that these kids finish their developing stage of their relationship with Jesus. They will have opportunities to begin discipling others.
WedgKids Wednesdays
Grades 1st-6th
On Wednesday evenings at WedgKids Wednesdays, children in 1st – 6th grades meet together in large groups for games and then smaller groups for rotations of stations. The groups are typically separated into 1st & 2nd grades, 3rd & 4th grades, and 5th & 6th grades. We rotate through 4 different stations each night that last 15 minutes each. Each station is interactive and builds community. We always begin and end our time together playing a super fun game. Every week the kids look forward to WedgKids Wednesday!
The 4 stations of WedgKids Wednesday are Connect, Small Group, Drills and Skills, & Storytelling. Each of these elements will involve loving, caring adults, encouraging children to know God and live life to His Glory. WedgKids Wednesdays are fun and engaging, and we love when visitors join us. Arrival begins at 6:10 p.m. and pickup begins at 7:50 p.m.
