Why was the woman in the Bible story sad? She was a widow and a creditor was coming to take her sons away.
What did Elisha tell her to do? Ask her neighbors for empty jars and take the oil in her small jar to fill them.
How did God provide for her? By giving her enough oil to fill all the jars.
Read Colossians 1:13-14. What has God done for us that shows we can have faith? God sent Jesus to redeem us, to give us a way to be connected to God.
What does having faith mean to you?
Think of someone else in the Bible who had faith in God. How did their faith help them?
